Homework assignments will be posted on this site as they become available. There will be two components to the graded homework for this course - daily WeBWorK assignments and weekly written homework assignments.
WeBWorKWeBWorK is an online homework system used at Dartmouth. Detailed information regarding WeBWorK can be found here. WeBWorK problems will be assigned after almost every lecture (on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays - not after x-hours) and due by 8:00 a.m. on the morning of the lecture after next. For example, if WeBWorK is assigned on Monday, it is due at 8:00 a.m. on Friday. Late WebWork will receive a score of zero. There will be about 24 assignments in all. Each WeBWorK assignment should take no more than 30 minutes to complete. Please inform your instructor if you are finding that this is not the case. Here is a link to the WeBWorK Page for the course. Written homeworkHomework will be assigned most weeks, for a total of 8 assignments. Assignments will generally be given out on Fridays, due the following Friday at the beginning of class. Homework solutions should be written legibly in pen or pencil or typed. Late homework will not be accepted under any circumstances. However, your lowest homework grade of the term will be dropped (even if it is from an unsubmitted homework). |
