Math printers are automatically available, when conencted to the wired network in Kemeny Hall. In order to print from eduroam wireless, printers will have to be added individually. Please see Math Printers below.

macOS

Math printers are available automatically, when connected to the wired network in Kemeny Hall:
In Print dialog click on Printer drop down, then Nearby Printers and select one of the Math Dept. printers, indicated by @ math.

To print from eduroam wireless, printers will have to be added individually by their IP address (see Math Printers below for a list). In Settings > Printers click “+” to add a printer. In Add Printer window go to IP tab (globe icon as of macOS 12). Put printer's IP address in Address: field. For Protocol: choose Airprint (for newer printers) or IPP (for copiers). Name: it as you wish. Use: Auto Select or, if it doesn't detect printer's model, — Select Software. If autodetect didn't work and software is not available, try switching from Airprint to IPP and vice versa. If none of the options work, use Generic or install printer software using Local driver downloads below.

Windows

1. Control Panel > Programs > Turn Windows Features On or Off > Print and Document Services > Internet Printing Client — checked!
2. Control Panel > View Devices and Printers > Add a Printer > The printer that I want isn’t listed > Select a shared printer by name.
3. Go to CUPS page and copy/paste link from the first column (“Queue Name”), Next.
4. If prompted, choose driver (see Math Printers below), Finish.
