for the Final can be found here and here.
Disclaimer: These
problems were created as review problems for math 11 but are good review
problems for the computational problems on our final exam. However, there are no examples among these
problems that would serve as review problems for the proof problems on the math
12 exam. To review for the proof
problems, we suggest that you review the written homework problems and the
proofs that we covered in class.
Practice for the
first Midterm:
A PDF file of a
2005 Math 12 Midterm Exam can be downloaded here. Please note that the order of the
material covered that year was different so the material of problem 1.e was not
covered. Also we decided that there will be no recognize the graph type
problems on the first Midterm exam, so problem 2 from the 2005 exam is not
relevant.
The problems of
the above 2005 exam are similar to the “computational” problems on our coming
Midterm Exam. They do not represent
any of the “proof oriented” problems on the coming Midterm exam. The proof
oriented problems will be similar to the proofs covered in class and to the
proof exercises on the homework.
Both sections of
Math 12 will have an x-hour on Thursday October 4
