Exams

There will be two "midterm examinations" and a final examination. The exams are scheduled as follows:

Exam 1	October 18, 2005	In class
Exam 2	November 10, 2005	In class
Final Exam	Monday, Dec 5, 2005	3 - 6pm

Homework Policy

• Homework is due at the start of the class period on the due date. Late homework is generally not accepted unless there is a prior arrangement.

Grades

The course grade will be based upon the scores on the midterm exam, homework, and the final exam as follows:

Midterm Exams	200 points
Homework	50 points
Final Exam	200 points
Total	450 points

The Honor Principle

On Exams: No help given or received.

Collaboration on homework is permitted and encouraged, but obviously it is a violation of the honor code for someone to provide the answers for you.

Tutorials

There is no teaching assistant fort Math 20. Tutors may be available for Math 20 through the Tutor Clearinghouse. If you would like to have a tutor, please go to 301 Collis and fill out an application as early in the term as possible. There may be a waiting list.

Disabilities

Students with disabilities who will be taking this course and may need disability-related classroom accommodations are encouraged to make an appointment to see their instructor as soon as possible.
