Exams:

 There will be two midterm exams and a final exam. The exams will have two parts, in-class part that will test basic computations, knowledge of definitions and theorems and a take-home part that will test proof-writing. The schedule for the exams is as follows:

Midterm 1 -- April 22, 2008, 4-6 PM -- Kemeny 007

Midterm 2 -- May 13, 2008 4-6 PM -- Kemeny 007

Final Exam -- Saturday May 31, 2008 -- 8-11 AM

Please mark these dates in your calendar. I will NOT make special arrangements to accomodate travel arrangements that conflict with the final exam.
