- Show that a cyclic three tournament does not yield an equitable
agenda. Where is the sincere decision in the agenda? Can you generalize where
the sophisticated decision is?
- Prove: No alternative is unanimously prefered to the sophisticated
decision.
- Kemeny and Snell distance function: At least read R, section
7.4.4 (p. 464). Do problems 1,4,5,11,12,18,20,22 on p.467-471.
- Class problem 2: Fill in the weak order diagram of distances
in K&S, p.17, with elements from the partial order on 3 items. Your finished
product should be a diagram of distances between all partial orderings on
3 items.
