x-hours, Th 12:00-12:50,
won't be used, unless announced otherwise.
Instructor: Jeff Kiralis, 312 Bradley Hall, 6-2411.
Office hours (tentative): M 12:30 - 1:30, W 1:40 -
2:30, F 2:30 - 3:30 and by appointment.
Homework: Usually assigned after each class meeting and
due by the start of the next class.
You may be given more time for some assignments.
Late homework will not be accepted.
Exams:
Wednesday, April 23, Bradley
105, 7:00-9:00pm
Wednesday, May 14, Bradley
105, 7:00-9:00pm.
Final exam: Friday 5/30, 8:00-10:00
The final will cover the entire course, but will emphasize
material covered since the second exam.
No early final exams will be given.
Grading: Final letter grades will be determined as follows:
Two Exams, 25% each;
Final exam 30%; Homework 20%.
Honor Code:
Homework: You may work together
on assignments. However, write up all homework to be graded by yourself.
Copying from another person's paper is a violation
of the honor code, even if you worked with that person.
Exams: All exams are closed book.
Giving or receiving any help during an exam is a violation of the honor code.
