Homework Policy

Students who understand the homework sets typically perform better on the exams.

Grades

The course grade will be based upon two midterm exams, a final exam, homework, and class participation.

On Homework: Collaboration is permitted and encouraged, but NO COPYING. Do feel free to discuss the general ideas of the problems with other students.

Tutorials

Teaching assistant Geoff Goehle will provide tutorial assistance for this course (help with your homework) in 104 Gerry on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings, from 7 - 9 pm. Tutorials will begin on Sunday, January 9. Private tutors may be available through the Tutor Clearinghouse. If you would like to have a private tutor, please go to 301 Collis and fill out an application as early in the term as possible. There may be a waiting list.

Disabilities
