Reading

Read what we will cover in class on Friday and Monday: 11.7.

When reading 11.7 pay special attention to the following concepts:

  • does every function have a power series?, Maclaurin series, the connection between the coefficients of the Maclaurin series and power series and the original function, Taylor series, Theorem 13 (good news!, they work...)

Problems

  • 11.6: 6, 7, 11, 16, 23, 26, 29, 45, 46, 49, 50.
    Note: For 6, 7 just list the first five terms of the series.
