In HW4, you are okay to skip the second part of Q7. Today I also gave some hints on Q8 and Q9. Please check the recorded video for your reference.
In today’s lecture, we discussed 3.10 (skipping 3.10.3). Random vectors are a straightforward extension of random variables using the help of matrix algebra. If you find any difficulties in following the textbook or the lecture, please review section 10.2 of your textbook.
The midterm will cover materials up to Chapter 3. Note that the following (sub)sections are not covered in the midterm test.

Also, you do not need to know the tight confidence range.
