Read what we will cover in class on 3/5: Chapter 15
When reading Chapter 15 pay special attention to the following concepts:
ring homomorphism, ring isomorphism, note some examples and nonexamples,
Theorems 15.1-5 and Corollaries 1-3. We will not explicitly consider fields of quotients
in our study of ring homomorphisms.
