This package contains most of the programs referred to in the book. (Most of the differences between the Maple package and the Mathematica package are described in a file called "Differences.") The programs are organized by chapter into folders. Additionally, there is a folder entitled "Important Programs," which contains support programs necessary to run many of the programs in each chapter. Descriptions of all the programs can also be found under "Synopses" in the "Important Programs" folder. To use a particular program, you must first open that program's scrachpad. The scratchpad will contain a synopsis of the program, the program itself, and usually an example of how the program can be used. Reading this description will tell you the syntax of the program's call, as well as any other programs which may be necessary to load first. If the program you are interested in requires other programs, you should load these support programs into memory first. To load a program, go the end of the program's code, and hit enter. This will place the program in Maple's memory. Now, on your worksheet, you can use that programs call to create any examples you choose. Note that when you use a program which creates graphics, such as Bargraph, the graphics window may appear behind other windows you have open.
