The Discrete Mathematics Days of the Northeast Conference will take place on Saturday, October 27 at Dartmouth College. Here is the poster of the conference.

General Information:

The meeting will begin at 9:00 am (first talk at 10:00 am) and continue through to 5:30pm.  There will be 5 talks during the day.
The meeting will take place in Kemeny Hall, which is the mathematics building. Talks will be in room 008, and registration and breakfast will be in room 004. A complimentary lunch will be served in room 300.

As with the other Discrete Math Day conferences, there is no registration fee, and preregistering is strongly encouraged.  To preregister, send an email to Sergi Elizalde (). For information on financial support, please see below.


Directions, Parking, Accommodations, and Restaurants:

Here you can find Driving Directions to Dartmouth, and Campus Maps where you can find Kemeny Hall.

Parking is free on weekends in all the Dartmouth parking lots. The closest parking lot to Kemeny Hall is on Maynard Street, across from the Moore building (see the map).

Here are some suggested accommodations, all about two miles from campus.

·       Residence Inn Hanover Lebanon. Rate: $189/night. Phone # 603-643-4511.
Some rooms have been reserved for the conference. Mention “Discrete Mathematics Day” or “Sergi Elizalde” when you make the reservation.

·       Norwich Inn. Rate: $109 to $209/night. Phone # 802-649-1143.

·       Sunset Motor Inn. Rate: $55 to $99/night. Phone # 603-298-8721.

Financial Support:

Students and postdocs traveling more than 50 miles (each way) may apply for a $50 travel stipend.
Any participant traveling more than 100 miles (each way) and staying overnight may apply for $100 towards lodging expenses.

This is part of a series of one-day conferences, titled "Discrete Mathematics Days in the Northeast" and styled after the earlier "CoNE" meetings.  Information on previous meetings can be found here.

In the past, Discrete Math Days have been held at Middlebury College, Skidmore College, U Mass Amherst, Dartmouth College, SUNY Albany, University of Rhode Island, WPI, SUNY Binghamton, and Bard College.
