Every web page should have some interesting tid-bits, and here is my modest list.
- I named my computer "Buzoe" years ago when I read a charming story by a former Dartmouth Professor whose actions impacted the maps of Australia in the middle of the 20th centrur. You can read the story by clicking here.
- In academics, our work is often reviewed by our peers. As a result, we occationally have to endure reviews of our work that are less than kind. For all of us who have had a bad review, we can take heart in that our reviews couldn't have been as sharp as the comments Mark Twain makes about a fellow American author reproduced here.
