  • Math Movie Night - 10.19.2009

  • Back by popular demand! Come enjoy a math related movie at this math-can-be-fun event. We'll be watching "Proof," starring Gwyneth Paltrow and Jake Gyllenhaal, and there will be free food - veggie samosas! (**Haldeman 028, 7 PM)

  • Meet & Greet - 10.05.2009

  • Come hang out with fellow math students and enjoy refreshments and pizza! We'll be talking about events for the term, electing a Fall term treasurer, and organizing mentoring groups for those interested. (Kemeny Undergraduate Lounge, 6 PM)

  • Ramunto's Study Break! - 6.02.2009

  • Take a break from studying and come enjoy some pizza! This will be the last AWM event of the term, and we'll be holding officer elections for next year. Stop by if you can! (Kemeny Undergraduate Lounge, 6:30pm)

  • Brownbag Lunch with Jen Paulhus - 5.21.2009

  • The Dartmouth Mathematics Department welcomes Jen Paulhus from Kansas State University for this week's Number Theory seminar. We plan to have lunch with this accomplished female speaker. Bring your own sandwich and drink; we'll provide the desserts. (Kemeny 100C, 12:30-1:30pm)

  • Course Selection Office Hours! - 5.12.2009

  • Course selection for Fall term classes is on Banner Student May 13-21. Come ask women majors all your questions about picking classes for the fall. This will be a casual, office hours style event - drop by at any time between 6:30 and 10pm in the Kemeny Undergraduate Lounge.

  • Sarah Greenwald visit - 4.30.2009 POSTER

  • Back by popular demand, Sarah Greenwald comes to us from Appalachian State University. She'll give a talk open to the entire campus at 6:30pm in Cook Auditorium (Thayer School of Engineering) about the Simpsons in mathematics (pizza provided!), and we hope to have a more intimate gathering with the AWM chapter at lunch from 12:30-1:30pm.

  • Lunch with AWM National President Georgia Benkart! - 4.23.2009

  • The Dartmouth Mathematics Department welcomes Georgia Benkart from the University of Wisconsin for the 2009 Kemeny Lecture for undergraduates, Wednesday, April 22nd at 7pm (more information can be found here). We'll have the chance to meet with this exciting speaker over Lou's to discuss both her work in mathematics and her involvement in our national organization. (Kemeny 100C, 12:30-1:30pm)

  • FAST (Faculty And Students Together) Lunch - 3.05.2009
