Written homework will be assigned daily and
will be collected during the next class meeting at the beginning
of class.
You can collaborate with other students while thinking about a homework
problem. If you do this, please write in your homework the names of the
people you talked to in the process of solving your homework assignment.
All homework assignments will be posted on
the course assignment's web
page.
Late homework will not be accepted under
any circumstances, please do not ask. Since this seems harsh, I will
allow
you to drop 3 homeworks with lowest scores. In this way if you must
miss a homework you can let this be one of the
scores dropped. Of course you should still do the homework since
you will be tested on this material.
Missing papers count as zero. It is your responsability to keep track of all your assignments. Please pick up your homework assignment as soon as possible after it is graded and keep it for your records.
Homework is to be written neatly using 8 1/2 x 11 inch paper. Do not use paper from a spiral notebook unless you can tear off the ragged edge. All papers are to be stapled. If you are interested I can teach you to use LaTex, in this way you will be able to edit your homework assignments instead of handing in your first draft that usually is poorly written.
If you do not follow this guidelines, your
homework will be returned ungraded.
