Comment: Remember that in webwork, log means ln (log base e) rather than log base 10. It'll save you from being frustrated.

Comment: Another tip for using WeBWorK:

If you repeatedly enter an answer which is marked wrong, you might give serious consideration that the answer is wrong, and not simply that you have miskeyed it!

Comment: Good tip on the use of Maple

Also consider that Maple can find partial derivatives:
For example, diff(sin(x * y^2 * z,y)); gives the partial wrt y of sin(x * y^2 *z)

You may also find it handy as we start integrating!

Comment: Just a quick tip for everyone: I've found that if you run your answers through Maple before entering them into webwork, it's easier to tell whether or not you've typed them in correctly.
